The scenery is Greece is vast. There are ranges such as palm trees to evergreens, and oceans or red rock sand. This array is also extremely close to itself. There is not much land in Greece. There are over 3,000 islands according to our professor, not all habited, but still that many islands total. This there is room for a wide amount landscapes.
My favorite landscape was the red rock cliffs up against the sea in Napflio. These remarkable and stark color differences were something that I will never forget.
Not only was I amazed by the beauty, but also by the sheer amount of color, and different color.
In Iowa we get so used to seeing beige, and when we see even a little color, it is satisfactory. Then you enter a place like Greece, and you're awestruck and speechless over the colors in front of you.
When going to Greece I think it's important to see at least two different landscapes. Whether that be the city (Athens) and the sea (Aegean), or Athens and a vehicle free island (Hydra), there is a lot of value in exploring and being exposed to the different landscapes.
