Today was another travel day, but with some rich history and beautiful sunsets at the end!

We took the ferry from Athens to Santorini- about a 7 hour trip in todays windy weather. The trip was beautiful but long. These ferries are massive, think cruise ship. They have airplane style seating, as well as business class, hotel rooms, lounge areas, and 3 restaurants. Not a bad place to spend 7 hours!

That ride was worth it as we arrived in Santorini! We landed into the port, deboarded, and met with our next professor, Dr.Pspiros He is an archeologist, and took us to visit the ruins of the Ancient Akrotiri. This ancient settlement is frozen in time, captured, and was perfectly explained in a story like fashion. We then walked around for dinner, got some sunset photos, and I wrapped the night up with a shower!
